We begin each project with the Project Discovery to define the user, the vibe and the experience. It is a way for us to understand the brand motivations, inspirations and behaviors. The findings become our guide to design a space that is truly for its users and aligns with the brand vision. With our findings from the Brand Discovery phase, we dive deep into design research and curate a look and feel specifically for your brand and user in mind. We determine the best spatial strategies to create a meaningful experience journey for each user.

We develop the concept during Schematic Design. We solidify a floor plan that addresses each user journey and bring the design to life by creating rendered interior views. This phase is where we finalize the design and curate selections for finishes, furniture, accessories, fixtures and art. Leveraging existing conditions, the building’s interior architecture and the negative space acts as the canvas for playful artwork, multifunctional furniture and accessories. These layers bring a distinct local character to the interiors.

At this phase, we coordinate with the AOR to ensure that the overall design concept and design intent was developed in line with the approved Design Concept. We review Millwork drawings for any custom elements and the Design Development drawing set produced by the AOR to clarify any design questions.

We source and procure furniture, accessories and art. We create a Design Catalog with detailed specifications for all selected finishes and objects in the project. The Design Catalog allows for brand consistency throughout the project and for future iterations of the design concept.

Staging & Styling completes the design and creates a lived in quality to any space. We style with sourced accessories, plants and flowers and engage furniture and art installers to ensure all items are properly placed and ready for opening day. During installation & staging, it’s important to consider the order of placement. We start from the bottom and end with the finishing touches.

As an add-on service, we are able to create one of a kind imagery for developers and clients alike.
